Barbados

Barbados is the most Easterly of the Caribbean islands enjoying a warm sub tropical climate year round. Daytime temparatures of around 30Deserted Beach degrees with a cooling breeze are typical. Measuring just 21 miles long and 14 miles wide it's easy to get around  and experience the huge variety that Barbados has to offer.

West Coast

  • The calm waters of the Caribbean Sea backed by silver coral sand beaches stretch all the way up the West Coast. Ideal for water sports, snorkelling and swimming. Numerous place to eat and drink overlooking the sea - from beach side bars to some of the finest restaurants in the world.  

East Coast

  • A  total contrast to the West  Coast - the Atlantic surf pounds mile after mile of deserted beaches offering great scenery and exhilarating walks.

South Coast

  • Upbeat and lively, the South Coast offers party time with lots of night life around St  Lawrence Gap and surfing around Crane Beach

Currency

  • Local currency is the Barbados dollar, which  is linked to the US  dollar with fixed exchange rate of 1US$ = 1.98BDS$. The US  dollar is widely accepted.
